Just wanted to share an experience I was lucky to have last week.  I was asked by Capt. Willis Kerridge of Thunderduck Charters to participate in the Grand Haven St. Jude Children's Fishing Tournament last Thursday, June 3rd.  The tournament had sponsors that paid for the boats and then had children from St. Jude, take a day off from their normal routine and go salmon fishing.  I had the pleasure of having two beautiful young ladies on board, Hillary and Rachel.  They said they were "Chemo Buddies", but they were "Fishing Buddies" for the tourney.  Hillary brought her Grandpa, and Rachel brought her Dad.  We also had their sponsor on board Grace Stanton, and her brother Jim.  Although the action was not fast and furious, the girls managed to land seven out of eight fish, and as Hillary said, "we have quality not quantity." 

Rachel was the lucky one, landing the big fish for the girls division,  a 11.65 pound king! This was a great day and I look forward to fishing with these ladies again!
